Our Churches

There are two Unitarian churches in the Northern Region; Newcastle upon Tyne and Stockton-on-Tees. Here’s a bit more about each of them.

Newcastle upon Tyne Unitarians

Newcastle Unitarian Church building

The Newcastle upon Tyne Unitarians currently meet on a Sunday at 11am in our Art Decochurch, the Church of the Divine Unity, in Ellison Place in Newcastle City Centre. All are welcome to join us and we have coffee and biscuits afterwards! Parking is available at the church. We do not currently have a minister, and our services are led by a rota of ministers and lay people, including members of the congregation. Our activities include a badminton club and reading group, and we have charity collections for local shelters for the homeless, food banks, and animal rescue centres. Stockton-on-Tees Unitarians

Stockton Unitarian Chapel

The Stockton on Tees Unitarians currently meet on a Sunday at 6pm in our modern chapel in Stockton on Tees. All are welcome to join us and we have coffee and biscuits afterwards! Parking is available at the chapel. As with Newcastle, we do not currently have a minister, and our services are led by a rota of ministers and lay people, including members of the congregation.
